Silchar 25th
October, 25: Don Bosco School, Silchar, participated in the annual “Bharat
Ko Jano” quiz competition organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad on 25th
October at Gandhi Bhawan. The quiz is conducted at the regional,
state, and national levels with the theme “Know India”. All the
questions were based on Indian history, geography, political affairs, and
general knowledge, aiming to enhance students’ awareness about the nation.
Our school
was represented by Khimsaindi Jidung and M.D. Tarique Dahir Laskar
of Class XI, Humanities, who performed exceptionally well and secured
the Second Prize. A total of eight schools participated in the
event, out of which six qualified for the finals.
The
competition was well-organised, intellectually stimulating, and enriching,
providing students with valuable learning experiences. It was thoroughly
enjoyed by all participants and attendees.
